A first of its kind broadcast radio program on Family History, hosted by Charles LeCher will make its debut on Saturday, October 26th at 11:00 am EDT) on WTAN 1340 am and WZHR 1400am in the Tampa Bay area as well as on KWAI 1080 in Honolulu.
The hour long program is called “Ancestors of the Rich and Famous” and it is hosted by former Clearwater mayor, Charles F. LeCher. Handling the show’s announcing is well known radio personality Chuck Adams. “Ancestors of the Rich and Famous” is sponsored by a software database company based in Hawaii. Tom Nocera of Clearwater is the executive producer of “Ancestors of the Rich and Famous”. Nocera is making sure the first show will bring back memories to all baby boomers who were glued to their family television sets during the 1950’s watching Buffalo Bob and Howdy Doody. “We have designed our broadcast and webcast so the listening audience will be well entertained, very surprised and we hope, even delighted with what they will discover on Saturday, when they remember to tune in,” said Nocera.
“We are also launching a weekly contest on our program where the audience can email us with their guesses. The contest for this week asks the question, what US President has an ancestral connection to Lisa Marie Presley through her famous and much loved father?
